About Me

Hi there! I am Walid Hasan, a graduate student in theoretical physics at the University of Manitoba. I am working with Professor Andrew Frey and Professor Margaret Carrington. I completed my undergraduate degree in physics at BRAC University in Bangladesh. You can read more about my academic work here.

Beyond physics, I am deeply interested in writing and journalism. During my undergraduate years, I was the news editor of our campus newspaper, BRACU Express. My work has also appeared in national newspapers in Bangladesh. A selected list is available here.

I currently write about history, politics, and books on my Substack.
